We’ve been chugging along at roughly 9 knots for the past two days to get out of this nice weather we’re stuck in. There’s been a little science going on, but mostly wasting time and eating. A lot of eating. So this is a good opportunity to show some pictures from within the ship.
This is what I had for dinner tonight. It’s a tough life.
This is the place where I ate it. You don’t want to look around too much in here because you might find something like a box of ice cream sandwiches.
This is where the magic happens. My desk is in the background with a laptop and desktop screen facing the camera.
The view from my room. My room itself is too small to get a good shot of it, but it has a bunk bed, small wardrobe, and sink.
Things I didn’t get pictures of, but should’ve: Riding the stationary bicycle from the top deck, the whole science team watching Hot Tub Time Machine in the lounge, and Jim getting absolutely drenched by a wave standing along the rail.
That’s all for now. Onward to Papa. (View from the helium balloon/kite hybrid we fly from the ship)
